Abstract: “Patrolling of the warriors of karun” , “Inspection of Kurun” and “Patrol of boundary lines”are the different patrol systems each other. They are often confused for their resembling names. According to the document of “the Complete Records of Administration of Hobtu”, this paper explains them respectively, and makes a comprehensive discussion on their essential differences and inherent relationships.

摘要： “卡伦弁兵的巡逻”、“巡查卡伦”、“察边”是清朝政府在其边防中所采取的内容、形式互不相同的巡视制度，但由于其名称比较相似，容易引起混淆。本文根据《科布多政务总册》等文献记载，分别解释上述三种巡视制度的基础上，对它们之间的本质性区别及其内在联系作了较全面的论述。
