摘要： 本文通过对江西新城县中田镇的个案研究，探讨清代乡绅的宗族组织、学术传承与地方权力体系的建构过程，揭示清代基层社会结构与地方权力体系的演变趋势。

Abstract: This essay examines Zhongtian Town, Xinc;heng County in Jiangxi province to explore the clan organizations of rural gentry, their scholarly traditions, and the process by which they established their local power. From this case study it is easy to see changes in the system of local power at the lower levels of society in the Qing dynasty.
