Abstract: Compared to other borderlands, the political development of modern Xinjiang was distinguished by three aspects: the establishment of Xinjiang province,“the six polices”of Sheng Shicai, and the creation of a unified provincial government. The article analyzes process, administration, and results of the economic development of modern Xinjiang.

摘要： 与其它地区相比，新疆的政治开发具有明显的超前性。这种超前性主要表现在新疆建省、盛世才的“六大政策”、省联合政府的成立三方面。对近代新疆经济开发，本文从其过程、层次、效果三方面进行剖析。
