Abstract: Taking Xunzhou District，which was the base of the Society of God-Worshipers，as an example，this thesis argues the formation and significance of alliances in local society in the late Qing. During the evolution of the social order in local society in Xunzhou，new local alliances，which were geographic organizations，ultra-lineages and multi-villages，were established based on religious activities in the Ming-Qing dynasty. The local alliance was a significant means of village integration in Xunzhou in the late Qing. With the development of this political system，it became the most important social structure and legalized by virtue of official terms. This social structure influenced the evolution of local society in Xunzhou as well as in south China.

摘要： 本文以太平天国拜上帝会基地广西浔州府为例,探讨清代中后期民间的祭祀性地缘组织——村落联盟之形成及其对地方社会的意义。本文指出,明清时期的浔州府地区在地方社会秩序形成过程中,发展出以社、庙祭祀为中心的超宗族、超村落的地缘组织即村落联盟。村落联盟在清中后期成为地方进行乡村整合的重要形式,更随着朝廷制度的变化,借用国家行政法规术语来使自身的存在合法化,成为地方最主要的社会结构。这种社会结构深刻影响着地方社会的历史进程,在浔州府地区,它成为拜上帝会建立的重要背景,在华南其他地方,其对地方社会的影响也值得进一步深究。
